With this release Rush hour introduces another new artist. This time its the very talented Patrik Smaaland from Sweden. Being tipped by no other than Recloose, Rush Hour was amazed by his music and decided to release his debut EP. On the Inner Strength EP you can hear his diverse inspirations, from singer Mark Eitzel to Planet E style dance music. The title track is an epic, vocal offbeat hybrid, which has a certain 80s feeling to it, which makes it very recognizable for our generation. On the b-side a shorter, catchy radio mix is featured. The B-side holds the more Detroit influenced 4-floor techno-house Backslow. With its deep kicks & UR/Rolando like strings this should appeal to fans of Detroit house/techno. Tip !!
