Very hard to find anything online about Idris Cheba who's real name is Serge Michael Bijaoui but this was a classic at the famous parisian disco Le Palace in the early 80's when it was released.

This is an odd one, a jazz disco thing from the mid 70's, the producer Art Polhemus is actually more a rock producer and this track sticks out like a sore thumb in his discography.

Peter Godwin who wrote this was in the band Metro and then went on to write and produce a lot of 80's new wave in France and across Europe, the original is definitely a guilty pleasure, both Dr Love and Laura Ingalls are closet Italo fans and even though this is from Belgium it bares all the cheesy Italo stigmata: big synths, big drums, english vocals with a bad accent!
