Swiss producer Alci first came to light with a run of releases on Robsoul, before migrating to other climes such as Apollonia. Now he makes a second appearance on his own Seeingsounds label with some refined minimal for those who like their beats crisp and intricate. "Rarely Listening" has a dreamy demeanour, but there's plenty of energy folded into the snappy rhythms and loping bleeps of the track. "Humanized Pattern" meanwhile ramps up the bugging funk for a swung and sassy run through micro house done with a whiff of French flair. "Seeing" resides on the B-side with a gloriously dubbed out line in melodies that float lazily over the top of the sharply focused beat.
