Alessandro Crimi returns to Open Recordings after appearing alongside Frazer Campbell and S. Moreira last year, this time enjoying the full spread of the record to impart his particular vision of deep techno. There's washes of chords aplenty spilling out of "Seashore Walk" while the groove stays cool and steady, and then Janeret comes bowling in with a pumped up beat to bring the party to a more overt party destination. "Night Dive" cools things down once more with its swirling, seductive notes and tightly clipped drums, while Frazer Campbell returns to deliver a more uptempo version that maintains the mystery inherent in Crimi's original.
