Here, the trio returns with the second part of their debut excursion on Finland's Grotto Editions X We Jazz. Picking up where they left off, their EP number two presents the trio getting down to the nitty-gritty of soul jazz with guts. The three originals by trumpeter Jukka Eskola and drummer-producer Teppo Mäkynen are complemented by a tasty reading of "More (Theme from Mondo Cane)" by Ortolani & Oliviero. Artwork for the Grotto X We Jazz series is done by the Stockholm-based graphic designer Johanna Lundberg.
