1988 saw its peak of YU's creative musical output with two tape-releases in one year and covered on this Lp-Release including their Tape-Releases "Family" and 'I Hope I'm Dreaming"
.
YU are Dwaine Woodliff, his brother David and Gaylon.
When the punk ethic of do it yourself-thing hit Austin/Texas in the early 80s, they also decided to actually record some songs and released them on cassette. We Are YU was released in 1982 on their own label 'Home Productions' and until 1987
3 more Tapes were produced ('Art & Guns', 'Illusion of Control' and 'Songs of Science'.
(for more Info on YU and the first 4 Tapes please check the Promo/Info to the YU-2Lp-Release on VOD-Records released at same time to this release.)
