‘Iron Lungs’ combines ghostly atmospherics with crashing ride cymbals and sub drops. It’s as impactful as it is odd, striking a middle ground between the two.The B-side continues the motif unrelenting percussion and textures. ‘Number 24’ bounces around a 4x4 kick and bulky congas, while ‘Footprints In Solid Rock’ strips back the elements to reveal a broken form, combining swung percussion and eerie flutes.
