Golden Parachutes is a collaborative musical effort comprised of Stewart Walker (US/Berlin) and Touane (Italy/Berlin). Following five years of collaborative live-performances and techno releases through Stewart’s Persona Records imprint, here the duo has decided to co-mingle their influences from Afrobeat and Progressive Jazz into a boundary-free exploration. Liberated from the constraints of repetitive, pounding kick drums, they unveil a new sound of timbral fluidity built-up from live and sequenced instruments.
