Monoton was founded in 1979 by hypermedia wizard Konrad Becker as an art project.

A pioneer in experimental electronic music, Becker continued to break new ground in electronic media.‘Monotonprodukt 07’ has been reissued on vinyl by Desire. It’s the first time ever that tracks from the album are remixed. And remixes here come from artists/producers Prositutes, Svengalighost with fellow partner and L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli, as well as Mancunian duo Rainer Veil (Modern Love).
