The fine London based Emoticon label sees it's first release. Run by the people from Headspace, they set up this label to focus more attention on electronic music. This first sampler features the electronics of Cim and Future Beat Alliance as well as newcomers Mark Mclaren and John Braine. All four tracks have a nice and warm sounding feel, which results in ear pleasing listening music. The FBA and Mark Mclaren are more up-tempo tracks to play out, while the other two are more funk fuelled down tempo beats.
