Heavyweight limited edition 12"'Water Pistol' is a storming early dancehall 12' produced by Geoffrey Chung and Mikey 'Boo' Richards.
Vocalist Tony Brutus aka known as Anthony Richards is the brother of drummer Mikey 'Boo' Richards. There are 3 mixes on this release 1 of which has never been released before. This is a top notch production and has been sourced from original master tapes which have been baked and re-mastered. Producer Geoffrey Chung sadly passed away in 1995. He was an excellent producer as well as a fine musician. This release is a reminder of just how good his producing talents were. Geoffrey Chung was a member of 'The Mighty Mystics' and 'The Now Generation Band' bands. Although his first recordings were as part of 'The Minstrels' vocal harmony group along with Mikey Chung and Lennox Robinson for Studio One. His legacy bares all the hallmarks of a very talented producer. A great loss to Jamaican music. These tracks have never been released or pressed since 1983.
