Forma�s combustible mixture of lush synth explorations and frenetic rhythm has captivated the margins of the international synth scene since their acclaimed 2011 debut on John Elliott�s Spectrum Spools label.

Following 2012�s dark and penetrating OFF/ON, the trio set a direct course toward the shadowy perimeter of the dance floor, with John Also Bennett replacing original member Sophie Lam. FORMA�s celebrated live performances -- extended improvisational journeys veering from the ecstatic to the foreboding -- draw techno, noise, and synth disciples into their realm.

We first heard Forma at a live show at their headquarters--Bushwick's monumental live-work space and performance venue The Schoolhouse. After one of their shows this winter, members of the group revealed that they had been working on music that didn�t really fit into an album format, but would work as a 12� aimed more at dancefloor audiences--and that�s what you have here: two epic 15 minute tracks of blissed out kosmische techno.
