Mukatsuku dig deep in the crates for the firstvolume of their new Lost Soul & Funk Gems vinyl only series which casts it's net across the globe to uncover some lesser known nuggets.

Leading the way is the under played boogie funk soul disco cut, ''You Gotta Let Go '' from Australian songstress Marcia Hines, originally released on her 1975 album Marcia Shines on Wizard Records. It's super rare on a 45 and copies on separate Australian & Italian only 45's fetch several hundred pounds when you can find a copy. On the flip a lesser known soul cut of the much covered anthem "You Keep Me From Hanging On'' from US legendary performer Jackie Wilson. Tingles down the spine aplenty as Jackie's superb vocals nail this bonafide classic underpinned by a great big band arrangement and backing vocals. As far as we know this is the first time this version has ever been available as a single in its' own right
