Balearica brings the goods again with another selection of unearthed eclectic gems
First up is one of the the all-time Balearic/Cosmic classics, ‘I Love You Dancer’ from French disco group Voyage, a floor-filling paean to ‘fancy dancers and sweet romancers’ - total killer! Followed by the dreamy instrumental version of Italian crooner Vasco Rossi’s ‘Una Splendida Giornata'. Another instrumental opens the B-side, this time Fonda Rae’s in-demand dub of ‘Heobah’ with its relentless tripped-out synth groove. And lastly we have Michael Cretu’s little-known Cosmic delight ‘Flying To Heaven’, a slice of laid-back pop paradise hidden away on the B-side of a super-rare 1978 Italian 12”.
