In the not so distant past, a certain Chicago house sound found it's way to clubs worldwide. A jacking house sound made up of anything producers could get there hands on. If you had a cool alarm sound, you could throw it under a 909 and watch dancers freak out.

DJ Rafael's new EP for On The Prowl is a nod to that era. While he's not using an alarm as his tool, you'll notice the "in your face" style in which it's based upon. Some of you might know Rafael from his earlier Miracles Club releases for Cutters and Mexican Summer. This time around Rafael Fauria joins friend Brian Foote for some on the edge jack tracks which are both packed with acid and foot stomping percussion.
