Audio Culture welcome back Severn Beach, the tougher alter ego James Fox.We Continue EP is an evolution of Severn Beach’s sound with a clear focus on the dancefloor yet retains that level of restraint which we loved so much on his first release. The lead track, We Continue, is a hypnotic roller with tough, punchy kicks which pays tribute to his Bristolian roots. On the flip Severn Beach teams up with Rick Grant on Slow Clap which is perhaps more understated than the title track but it’s a real grower and no less hypnotic. On each listen you find yourself drawn in and captivated from start to finish. Completing the EP, Leon Vynehall reworks the title track taking a housier approach infusing it with a groove like only he can.
