Rich Oddie returns to Surface Limited with the Against Your Will EP, following up his acclaimed solo debut on the label in 2011. 1st pressing comes on solid blue wax in a poly sleeve

The EP begins with the title track, which moves from shimmering layers of bleeps to a tense fusion of white noise and dub pulsations. “Bloodstream” follows with a mesmerizing cascade of relentless percussion and modulating analog synths. On the B-side, “Undercurrent” features Oddie's signature subaquatic pulses and acidic basslines but fuses these elements with stepping rhythms and fractured vocal samples. “Quintessence” concludes the record with a beautiful combination of industrial abrasion and melodic bass and synth chords.
