Following up his recently-released remixes of Scuba’s single ‘The Hope’ on Hotflush, Plangent Records boss Recondite returns to the label, this time with a solo 12”.

Recalling some of the moodiest moments from ‘On Acid’, his recent LP devoted to the sounds of the 303, this debut shows Recondite stay true to his sombre and tension-inducing roots.‘Drgn’ is a journey replete with a relentless, melodic sib-bass and vibrating synth; on the flip Recondite gives the 9-minute long ‘Wist 365’ a drum workout, resulting in a progressive, menacing groove, awash with wind chimes and 808 claps.
