NYC clubkiller Baauer aka Harry Rodrigues hasn’t been on the scene long – just 23 years old the last few months have cast him the poster child of this contemporary US fusion of dance and rap music. With a stellar selection of remixes and the elephantine anthem that is ‘Harlem Shake’ (Mad Decent/Jeffrees) under his belt – he has defined ‘Trap Music’ at it’s very best.
Dum Dum thumps out of the PA with assured minimalism and a smirk, it has a huge horn hook, lowslung bass and anthemic flygirl cries of “ok!”
My Nose is a Hardstyle sampling freak out that takes it’s formulae from Aarab Muzik’s production on Dipset’s Salute - but leaving you somewhere all together wilder.
