Originally released in 1979 on tiny Philadelphia label D.C. Records, this highly collectable 12” still gets plenty of playtime today from DJs such as Dmitri and Al Kent. On the A-side ‘Party People’ slams you hard with funky basslines, furious disco beats, heady 70s synths and a whole load of party lyrics. Then grooving sideways into your life is the B side’s ‘Love Your Family’. Yet another disco gem, this tune is mellower yet will still have you running to the dancefloor with its first-class bass guitar riff, deeply-disco tambourines and hand-claps.
