Another couple of gems from the Barbara Lynn repertoire. Barbara is known and loved on many scenes for her boundary-crossing “I’m a Good Woman” which was released on Fryers some time ago.
Side A is a huge modern soul spin with dense production on the intro and a chorus that’s broken up by a sparse open verse making for effective dancefloor teasing.
Side B is criminally underplayed probably due to the huge “I’m a Good Woman” overshadowing it.
