Juk Juk’s Unwrap/Fall is the inaugural release on Nommos, a new label from East London. It is Juk Juk’s second release following last autumn’s critically acclaimed debut on Keiran (Four Tet) Hebden’s Text imprint.

Unwrap is a beautifully arranged, euphoric mix of strings and chopped vocals driven by a deceptively simple rhythm. Perfect late night/early morning fare, as well suited to the dance floor as it is to the sofa.

Fall is the darker flipside, thick with dominant bass stabs, two-step rhythms and paranoid vocal leads. Minimal, moody, compelling, it will devastate on a big system.
