When Eric Lau embarked on producing a new EP he requested to work with one artist and one artist only, Guilty Simpson. The pair had already collaborated for esteemed label Fat City on 2007’s “For The D” and the demand to continue the output came not only from fans but from the artists themselves.

“The Mission EP” marks a progression in Lau’s production and takes Simpson’s lyrics in a impressive and seldom visited direction, often reminincing about his youth in his hometown of Detroit.
