Transfiguration" is an exceptional live recording with Coltrane in mesmerising form on the title track as she performs a Rileyesque organ 'raga' that is as breathtaking in it's improvisational orginality as was her late husbands sax playing. Recorded in 1978 it also features Roy Haynes and Reggie Workman providing a superb rhythm section.
