Damn Sam The Miracle Man and the Soul Congregation came out on tay-ster records in 1970 and producer "Jack Taylor", O.C "the Miracle Man" Tolbert and Jack gathered some other musicans out of Detroit in order to create their "Soul Congregation". Their music sounds like a fierce raw funk, pummeling funky drums and snapping electric congo without forgetting a nice roaring voice. Hard Times is a unreleased cut off of the Damn Sam The Miracle Man Recordings and get's it's first release on Kay-Dee on 45,where as Smash gets a kenny dope re-edit straight for the b-boy's and breakbeat dj's.
