By the time ESG' s debut LP, Come Away With ESG, was finally released in 1983, the Scroggins sisters had already released two EPs for 99 Records and a single for England' s Factory Records, produced by Martin Hannett (Joy Division), and had become influential members of NYC' s downtown No Wave scene.
