This latest release on the label Idle Hands marks the first time the music has come from outside the city limits. Szare will probably not be a name familiar to many, having covertly established himself on the lauded Horizontal Ground label, the producer steps just a little into the light to expose his unique abstractions on swung techno. ‘Volya’ ploughs a sparse and percussive furrow, while ‘Action Five’ boasts a wistful, dreamlike melodic bent.
