UK hardcore hip-hop legends The Criminal Minds rank alongside legends of Britcore hip-hop such as Hijack, The Demon Boyz and Silvah Bullet. Their previous records are certainly among the rarest in the genre and their message not as widely heard, but that is about to change with the release of this compilation of their back catalog, associated projects and previously-unreleased tracks.

DJ Halo and Chase 1 formed The Criminal Minds in 1985, and while at college, DJ Halo met Iceski, who would become lead emcee. Upon meeting another DJ called Spatts, they released their first EP entitled Guilty As Charged, funded by Halo selling his decks and the group, plus friends and family chipping in with some cash. Soon after, Safe D and CMD joined the group and they released Tales From The Wasteland, again, independently on their own label. Many tracks were recorded but not released in the following years. Current members include DJ Halo, DJ Spatts, MC Iceski and more.
