"Lay It On Me" lays on some serious Moogy, boogie space bass before getting fresh with a killer soul-funk vocal. "Situation" is a slo-mo soul-funk groover with a female vocal. the power of Discogs leads to Ruth Waters. Recorded just on the cusp of the 1980s, this has a real 70s vibe to it. "Bass Is The Place" gets all space age with slapped bass and Theramin efx. It's Q and "The Voice Of Q" from 1982. Lastly we get on a P-Funky tip with "Play On" for some mega electro-boogie, complete with sped-up chipmunk vocals.
