OptiMace is the result of an intensive cooperation between DJ's/producers Optimus and Mace, using all types of equipment like the SP12, Akai samplers, Juno & Korg synths and materials like stoves and brushes. Check!

OptiMace created a playful mixture of dusty hiphopbeats, improvised jazz, squeaking fusion and spherical soundscapes – inspired by the music of Easy Mo Bee, D-Styles, Erik Satie and Art of Noise, the works of Aldous Huxley and H.G. Wells and movies like Star Wars and Tron. The two, who already combined forces in Fremdkunst, invited Belgium saxophone player Erwin Vann to add some mind-blowing brass to the tracks. Belgium illustrator Klaas Verplancke and Mister Adam collaborated on the smashing artwork.
