The PPU label searched for this guy for years and as soon as they got a hold of the mysterious California gospel producer the first question was, why name your group Shelve? "It's not shelf, it's Shell-Vee, for Shelby!" PPU was finally able to locate Shelby when releasing a record with Michael Soward (PPU-022), turned out Shelby produced the title track "He's Alive". "This World" was recorded and mixed by Dale "Rambo" Ramsey, who went on to work with some major hip-hop acts like Ludacris, Raekwon and the Youngbloodz! Today Shelby Hurns is still producing records and will be releasing his latest CD summer 2011. Check!
