Recorded at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago in 1993, soon after the death of Sun Ra this album is spaced out and utterly beautiful, with especially fine harp and Frankiphone playing by Cohran, in smaller, more hushed and intimate settings than usual. Real cosmic jazz, elegiac but utopian. Tip!
