The ‘Elektrisch Kafe’ is a special at the Paraplufabriek, Nijmegen, where the crowd can enjoy experimental (electronic) music, video art and various performances for free. The two labels from Nijmegen that initiated the night, Shipwrec and Lomechanik present the ‘Elektrisch Kafe LP’. A compilation on vinyl that showcases 8 different solo artists and 1 duo who all previously played on the events. With this limited, numbered edition (300 copies), Elektrisch Kafe aims to present a lasting document of these first series of nights and show its face to the world. The sleeve is manually silk-screen printed with a glow-in-the-dark light bulb (the logo of the initiative), and comes with a large-scale poster designed by graphic designers ‘Atelier 152’, also featuring a glow-in-the-dark layer.
