Arthur's Landing is a collection of musicians, artists and close friends of the late and great Arthur Russell covering all of Arthur's disco works.
The band consists of Steven Hall, Peter Zummo, Ernie Brooks, Mustafa Ahmed, Bill Ruyle, Elodie Lauten and John Sherman. Sometimes collaborating and performing with Nomi Ruiz (Hercules and Love Affair), Larry Saltzman (Paul Simon). At some point in time they've all played and been apart of Arthur Russell's projects including Loose Joints, Dinosaur, Dinosaur L, Killer Whale and Indian Ocean.
For the last year Brennan Green has produced and mixed nine songs for their debut LP to be released on Strut early - mid January. In the meantime we get the band's cover of Arthur's Loose Joints classic "Is It All Over My Face". Slower than the original with a dub disco groove.
