James Blake returns to the famed R&S with yet more groundbreaking, genre-defying music.

The Klavierwerke EP opens with the anguished vocal snippets and pitter patter percussion of the title track, which retains deeply buried fragments of the R&B sensibility that the producer brings to his unique approach. "Tell Her Safe" features sparse instrumentation, gently hissing atmospherics, twinkling keys and yet more tortured, subterranean vocals. Flip over for two more gems in the shape of dreamy slow jam "I Only Know (What I Know Now)" and quirky synth-led cut "Don't You Think I Do".
