The originator of Minimal states it is not about using as little sounds as possible as has been misinterpreted by so many, but its all about striping the music back to the essentials, only leaving the true soul, the funk. First in the series is the monstrous "The Pace" (originally M-P306), which couldn't have a more apt title.
