In 2006, producer/rapper Newman of the group Giant Panda and up-coming rapper Shawn Jackson teamed up for their first single "Go!" After the success of the first single, Shawn Jackson released his solo album "First of All" and Giant Panda later released their second effort "Electric Laser." After the success of each album individually, Shawn Jackson and Newman decided to release New Jack Hustle's first full-length album "Soundcheck."
