A1: The Vibe | DJ Bone
This is an ode to the DJs that think enough about their art and their crowd to create a perpetual vibe. A vibe is
not always achieved but the possibility is always present. The DJ solely have to bring it into the room.
A2: Arrival | Trench
Acidic bass lines drive this atmospheric techno emotionally laced with melodic scale and heavily influenced by
sci-fi.
B1: MG | Stephen Brown
This track leans towards the more soulful melodic style of techno that Stephen Brown seems to produce every
now and then. Nice strings, a very melodic offbeat bass pattern, and some shuffled percussion are all that
make this track. Yep, no 4 /4 bass drum this time.
M.G is Mark Gibson who sadly now rests in peace.
B2: Hustle N’ Flow | Rennie Foster
Dirty glitches and clicks cycle around this unique take on a jerky, pumping house groove that is unmistakably
the work of the most infamous Tokyo transplant. Unlikely vocal samples provide a narrative on the music
industry and insight into the troubled mind of a music producer … but revenge is soon served cold with a
powerhouse acid line that whips the whole thing into a mad frenzy before it all comes back to earth
cushioned by lush Detroit style pads, warm gritty effects and an understated synth melody full of optimism
and hope for what will come from this prolific producer and the S.D. "soul"diers. Pure A.B.M. served straight
up, no chaser.
