Out originally in 1982 around the same time as Jamaica Super Dub, this single released two of a handful of tracks cut with the Itopia band at Wackies by Joy Card - between her leaving home in Canada and enrollment in the US Army. Jah Son Invasion includes short and singjay versions of Black Girl, which as this discomix was a big hit at the time in London, and played on the radio by the likes of Rodigan and Greg Edwards. Both sides are tough, edgy and dubby lovers' rock - Joy Card is confident and winning, Lloyd Barnes busy and thrilling throughout.
