“Immortality” is the second release from Paranoid London records with one of the original Chicago house vocalists (Paris Brightledge, known from his vocals on Sterling Void’s “It’s Alright”? ao) doing a cover version of a post-punk Manchester band set to a acid house banger. The A-side is of course a cover version of “Immortality” by The Fall. The B-side has two tracks. “Making Enemies” is a dark, polyrhythmic speaker-tester, while “Sync 24” is a quirkier affair. The music is all analogue using three machines: 808, 303 & 202 ... nice & simple. Pressed on 180g vinyl, no downloads and no CDs… check!
