From the vaults of Eevo Lute Muzique” is a new series of releases on Eevo Lute Muzique/EevoNext Recordings. We are releasing newly mastered classic releases as well as new material, never released before and safely stored in our DAT archives for years. Stay tuned for much more to come over the next months.
This time we bring you a complete rerelease of the first record ever recorded and released on the label back in 1991. All audio is completely restored and re-mastered, we think it is a big improvement and it shows what modern studio technology can do with classic techno sound, fitting it right in with contemporary electronic music.
Tracks include the classic 'A touch of Heaven' which whistling melody could be heard on raves all over the world at the time, and to be found on many compilations and licenses, including Carl Craig's Planet E imprint. 'The Vineyard featuring Rodine' is a tribute to the soulful techno from Detroit, with a big influence from early masters as Kevin Saunderson and Octave One. There's just a hint of Kraftwerk in there as well, even more in the opening song 'Exploration' which combines a steady electro beat with computer vocals and a filthy humming and hissing bassline. Watch your speakers!
Florence is an alter ego of label founder and musician Terrace aka Stefan Robbers. When originally released, Florence started where Terrace stopped with an approach that electronic music can not only be danced upon, but also be listened too. Taking American dance
music as a start, the results represent a kind of evolution that explains that everybody has qualities inside, just one should try to explore them. Following the thoughts of the third wave, the future is what we make of it, and this record was designed to give a little hope and joy for what lies ahead.
