This release is more dance floor friendly than the previous installment, yet does not lose the warmth and emotionally seductive musical compositions Deason has become known for. Elements Volume 2 opens with Absolution, and epic yet subtly building, multi layered synth workout ala Derrick May, and closes with “Seduction” a funky stripped down Carl Craig like groove built upon an infectious bass line. “Notch” showcases a track built simply yet amazingly from only a TR-909. The track “Teknomusik” is a fun and funky acid track with a robot vocal.
