Fantastic collaberation between the Bonnie Prince and guitar supremo, Matt Sweeney (Chavez, Guided By Voices, Zwan).
The story goes BPB set Sweeney a challenge to put music to his songs (possibly some of his finest) which
he's done to devistating effect - he also added backing vocals. Some of this stuff would make Springsteen weep admoration, ...beautiful, heart driven and simplistic. Less immediate than alot the BPB output, repeated listens will reveal a depth and some truly great music.
