Bochum Welt is one of the original gang of Rephlex Braindancers and has released several works on the label since 1994. He is well renown in the Electro / Techno world as a producer with a delicate & romantic touch, producing music akin to Kraftwerk, Human League, Aphex Twin and Drexciya. This EP serves to promote his forthcoming album on Rephlex, entitled “Robotic Operating Buddy”, a CD-only double disc set featuring his entire Rephlex back catalogue plus new material. On the A-Side there's the melodic breakbeat number 'interlude; the B-Side features an exclusive scientific remix by Heinrich Mueller of the Dataphysix institute, who have released classic albums under the monikers of Dopplereffekt, Arpanet, Der Zyklus & Japanese telecom among others !
