This is the follow up the Keepintime DVD that was released some years ago. That DVD was about a come together of LA's most 'revered soul and jazz drummers' and the city's best turntablists. In 2002 both went down to Sao Paulo Brazil. "The purpose of this journey was to expand the multi-generational conversation to include their counterparts from the world of Samba, Bossa Nova and Samba Rock, as well as the best talent from brasilian hiphop." The recording of this show, often relying on the use of still photography, formed the basis for this DVD.

Disc 1 includes the almost 2 hour full length feature, plus a photo gallery, and Trainwreck Samba -- a text essay by author Brian McCann / B+. Disc 2 has almost 3 hours of bonus material: deleted scenes, interview extras, live footage, footnotes, trailer and more! Available English, Portuguese, Spanish and Japanese subtitles. (NTSC format.
