The Politik is Bémbé Ségué and Mark de Clive-Lowe (MdCL). Bémbé is the ubiquitous vocal and writing talent behind tunes by Bugz in the Attic, 4Hero, Silhouette Brown, and MdCL’s Tide’s Arising album. MdCL is the UK-based musician and producer behind tons of soul artists like Omar, Platinum Pied Pipers, DJ Spinna, Dego and more. The Politik’s self-titled debut album features Bémbé on the mic, joined by guests Blu, Bahamadia and replife, and MdCL on production with guests Waajeed (Bling47), Daz I-Kue (Bugz in the Attic) and Jason Yarde.
