Appletree Records proudly presents Patience, the first single from Ntjamrosie. "Patience" gets the remix treatment on side b, with 2 different versions I.N.T (La Melodia, Frank N Dank, Roc C) and Sotu The Traveller.

Patience is the first solo release by singer/songwriter Ntjamrosie and is produced by multitalented production duo Nelson & Djosa. The single also contains 2 additional tracks and features 2 remixes of the title track.

Njtamrosie is currently majoring in Singing at the department of World Music at the Conservatory in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Her music is sometimes credited as R&B or Pop but can best be described as a combination of Nu-Soul, Worldmusic, Brokenbeat, Jazz & Pop. This first single shows the diversity of Ntjamrosie as "Patience" and "Squeeze the Breeze" are sung in English while her West African roots shine through in "Bia Yon", which features lyrics in traditional Bulu (the native dialect of the area where her tribe, the Yengap people, originally come from in Cameroon). Singing in traditional African dialect might sound a bit strange but actually works really well and the soulful track cooked up by Nelson & Djosa is a perfect backdrop for Ntjamrosie's warm vocals.

"Patience" gets the remix treatment on side b, with 2 different versions. First up is LaMelodia's own producer I.N.T., who is currently making big moves in the industry with LaMelodia's debut album 'Vibing High'. His signature sound and drum patterns work very well in combination with the vocals of Njtamrosie. Appletree Records own Sotu The Traveller comes up with remix number two, his uptempo broken beat style track features some funky saxophone lines and additional percussion.

This single is just a little taste of what to expect from Ntjamrosie's solo album, set to be released by the end of this year.
