Their 5th album already, and a real come together of various LA based artists, young and old, from different corners of the musical spectrum. All of this is arranged, produced and recorded by Carlos Nino, who also was responsible for making projects happen like the last Dwight Trible album and Built An Ark / Hu Vibrational earlier on. Here you get a blend of hiphop tracks, souljazz outings and electronica. Music is mostly provided by C. Nino and Fabian Ammon, but also Dexter Story, Miguel Atwood Ferguson, Gaby Hernandez contribute. There's so much to discover here, but to make a blunt selection, check out 'Like this' and 'With voices' with vocals from Lil' Sci, the beautiful spoken word track 'A zillion of tambourines' that features vocals and lyrics by Kamau Daaood, 'Beautiful flowers' that puts spoken word vocals from Organized Konfusion's Prince Po and Yusef Lateef over heartfelt stringwork with violin playing by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and singing from Dwight Trible or the beautiful ambient 'Earth's children' with vocals from Plug Research's Mia doi Todd.
