Solido: Vol I is a tribute to Latin/Brasilian jazz classics, Nightingale & Cubano Chant, as remixed by San Francisco Native, Tokyo transplant, DJ Grinch. The selections are from the original recordings of vibes + percussion jazz legend, Cal Tjader and a relatively unknown '60s Latin jazz group known as the 'Dee Felice Trio'. Dee Felice Trio's original recording of 'Nightingale' was unearthed a few years ago by UK & Japanese rare groove aficionados, and has since become a highly coveted record amongst collectors (selling for up to $1000 USD for the original 7' recording!).

DJ Grinch has keenly re-interpreted and enhanced these two classic jazz tracks to make them dancefloor and DJ friendly.
