Amsterdam's BlackLabel moving into new directions. Marcellis is Thijs Marcellis from Eindhoven, known dj for several years, now dropping his debut EP.. As on their way to a Scotland-gig, Aardvarck and David Caron told him, making your own music 'isn't that hard at all' and that he should 'just buy some gear and give it a go'. So by the end of 2002, Thijs bought his first sampler and started making his own tracks getting his midi-masterclasses from Harco Pront.
Marcellis calls his music 'Pussyhouse'-music. That's not to say it's all gonna be house music; it's simply the name of the house where all his music is recorded. As can be heard on this first full EP, five tracks bringing a varied cuisine, experimental, crazy stuff, kinda Joakim, kinda Herbert, kinda Harco Pront.. As speaking of the latter one track comes with the vocals of Harco. Check it out!!
